In 1982, Sam Walton landed his small plane in the small town Edna, TX and bought land for a Walmart store.  Over the years, the town closed their small stores and adapted the "Buy More - Pay Less" lifestyle.  Thirty-six years later, with no warning, Walmart closed shop.  Blind-sided by the loss, the citizens were only provided with a toll-free customer service number that they could call.  This work depicts the town and its citizens who are coming together to get back to what it once was before Walmart.
